In 3D view, choose Play to tap, strum, or glide across a playing surface. Hold keys or wind surfaces to sustain a note. Choose Rotate to inspect the model; scroll or pinch to zoom. Use the labeled note controls or computer keys for chords and the full range. Classic view provides the original illustrated playing surface. Hold a labeled note button or computer key to sustain a tone. You can also tap the illustrated finger holes. The controls choose pitches directly rather than teaching acoustic bansuri fingering.
What sounds does the virtual bansuri use?
Bansuri tones are synthesized from harmonic oscillators and filtered breath noise. They are an approximation, without recorded bansuri samples, breath control, ornamentation, or a raga tuning system.

- Use the labeled pitches
Locate C4, D4, E4 and G4 or use A, S, D and G. The controls choose pitches directly rather than reproducing bansuri hole combinations.
- Keep the opening connected
At 60 BPM, play C4-D4-E4-D4-C4, one note per beat. Release each key as you start the next rather than holding several notes together.
- Separate the high note
Rest on beat 6, play G4 on beat 7, then release for beat 8. Repeat and keep both gaps instead of adding extra notes.
Try next: Move the isolated note from G4 to A4 using H, then compare both versions with the opening unchanged.
