FluidR3 General MIDI soundfont samples Source: https://github.com/gleitz/midi-js-soundfonts Sample distribution: https://gleitz.github.io/midi-js-soundfonts/FluidR3_GM/ Soundfont: FluidR3_GM, Frank Wen and contributors; MP3 rendering distributed by gleitz/midi-js-soundfonts. License: Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/ This project includes selected C and G samples. Playback transposes these samples, adjusts envelopes, filters, and adds room reverberation. Ukulele uses nylon guitar samples with ukulele tuning and a shorter envelope. Drums, tabla, dhol, tasha, and dholak use locally implemented percussion synthesis. Bansuri uses a harmonic and breath-noise model. These instruments do not use these samples. Additional FluidR3 banks — 28 September 2026 Cello (cello), Electric Piano (electric_piano_1), Clarinet (clarinet), Oboe (oboe), Trombone (trombone), Vibraphone (vibraphone), Accordion (accordion), and Banjo (banjo). Each bank contains C2, G2, C3, G3, C4, G4, C5, G5, and C6. These are the distinct named General MIDI banks, not renamed copies of another instrument. The files are original MP3 payloads extracted without transcoding from the corresponding -mp3.js distribution. Credits remain FluidR3_GM, Frank Wen and contributors; MP3 rendering distributed by gleitz/midi-js-soundfonts, as above. Playback may transpose notes and adjust envelopes, filters, and reverberation; the stored MP3 audio is unmodified. Reproduce acquisition: node scripts/download-fluidr3-banks.mjs The script verifies pinned source SHA-256 hashes before extracting the notes. Expressive acoustic piano — 30 September 2026 Salamander Grand Piano v3, original Yamaha C5 piano recordings by Alexander Holm. License: Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ Source: https://github.com/sfzinstruments/SalamanderGrandPiano Pinned revision: 3382bf9496bba2486f5ab0de55a264d1dfc38404 Source SFZ remapping by kinwie; optional start-offset data from Jeff Learman. Resonant / AppsOverFlow selected 30 anchors from A0 through C8 at recorded velocity layers 3, 8 and 14, then converted the original stereo 48 kHz / 24-bit FLAC files to stereo 44.1 kHz MP3 using libmp3lame VBR quality 2. Relative recording levels and complete recorded attacks/decays are retained; no per-file normalization, synthetic velocity layers, tail trimming or looping was applied. Only the main struck-note recordings are included, without the library's separate hammer, release, pedal and sympathetic-resonance samples. The expressive piano does not replace the Electric Piano bank. No endorsement by the original author or Yamaha is implied. Harmonium samples Original recordings: Donya Quick, harmonium notes and chords recorded at the Euterpea studio, Yale University. Original source: https://freesound.org/people/donyaquick/sounds/330410/ Original recording license: CC0, https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ Edited sample distribution: tonejs-instruments by Nicholaus P. Brosowsky https://github.com/nbrosowsky/tonejs-instruments Sample distribution license: Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/ The distribution trims and normalizes source notes. Resonant includes four MP3 notes and transposes, loops, adjusts envelopes, and adds room reverberation during playback. Original concert studies and DJ arrangement — 29 September 2026 The former short melody presets and film-associated excerpts have been removed from the offered demo library. Eight new original compositions were created for Resonant: Glasshouse Overture, Afterglow Avenue, Paper Lantern Waltz, Copperline Express, Monsoon Observatory, Kinetic Mosaic, Velvet Switchback, and Horizon in Motion. Each has a 24-bar form and an instrument-specific virtual arrangement. These are eight compositions adapted across 30 instruments, not 240 unrelated works. The sitar arrangement uses only its available open-string pitches. Neon Meridian is a new original 32-bar, 110 BPM composition and procedural stereo sound design. It is generated locally as two synchronized stems: rhythm; and bass, chords and melody. It contains no external loops or recordings. These new note sequences, rhythms and the original synthesized DJ demo audio are dedicated under CC0 1.0: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ Instrument playback and exports using the separate instrument samples remain subject to the applicable sample licenses above. This dedication does not apply to uploaded audio, third-party samples, or third-party compositions. Guided lesson additions — 9 September 2026 First steps, City lights, Monsoon windows, Coastal morning, Midnight metro, and Paper kites are new secular note-sequence exercises created for Resonant. These original note sequences and the original studio rhythm exercises are provided under CC0 1.0: https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ This dedication does not change the separate sample licenses listed above. Tabla coaching uses newly programmed, simplified versions of traditional Keherwa (8 beats), Dadra (6 beats), and Teentaal (16 beats) cycles. Sam and khali markers follow their common groupings. These are rhythm exercises, not songs. Virtual stroke mappings simplify hand technique and pressure. No source audio, notation images, or instructional text is copied from the references below.
