Bring two tracks together. Find your next transition. Load audio files or saved takes, then shape your mix with jog wheels, hot cues, loops, EQ, filters, and echo.

## How to play

Load each deck or choose Play Neon Meridian. Start the decks and move the crossfader between A and B. Choose Detect BPM to estimate the tempo, review its confidence and half/double alternatives, then apply the estimate or enter the BPM yourself. Mark the first downbeat on each deck. Choose Sync beats to align B with A, or Match tempo to match their playback speeds. Enable Key lock to keep the original pitch while changing tempo; wait for sound preparation to finish. Set hot cues to return to favorite moments. Enable Quantize to launch cues and loops on the next reference beat. Press Record above the decks to capture the live mix.

## Sound

The decks play your audio files locally through the studio output. With Key lock enabled, tempo changes preserve the original pitch using local audio processing. With it off, speed changes also change pitch. Sync beats aligns tempo and beat phase once using your manually corrected, constant-tempo grid; tempo detection estimates a steady beat from up to the first 90 seconds and may need manual correction. Sync does not continuously correct drift. Key lock prepares audio in the background and supports mono or stereo tracks up to three minutes and 64 MiB of decoded audio. Larger tracks can still play with Key lock off. Strong changes may introduce audible artifacts. This is an independent Resonant console, not affiliated with or endorsed by Pioneer DJ. Source audio, cues, mixer settings and playheads save locally and restore paused. Neon Meridian is an original 32-bar stereo arrangement synthesized by Resonant, with rhythm on one deck and bass, chords and melody on the other. Add decks to tune editor transfers the source audio for arranging; recording captures live EQ, filters, echo, jog scrubbing, and crossfader performance. WAV, MP3, AAC/M4A, FLAC, Ogg/Opus, AIFF, ALAC, WMA, AMR, and APE imports use native decoding with a local conversion fallback. The extended decoder needs an initial 31 MB download. Proprietary, protected, or damaged files may be unsupported.

## How do I record and export a DJ mix?

1. **Load the decks.** Open audio files or saved takes on decks A and B, or choose Play Neon Meridian for the original demo.

2. **Prepare the transition.** Preview each deck and set its level. If using Sync beats, review each BPM and mark its first downbeat first. Sync aligns deck B to A once; it does not continuously correct drift.

3. **Record the performance.** Press Record above the decks. Start playback and use the crossfader, EQ, filters or echo to shape your mix. The recording captures the live studio output.

4. **Review and download.** Stop the recording and open Recordings. Listen to the take, then choose Download WAV or Original audio. Keep a downloaded backup because local recordings are removed when browser storage is cleared.

## Questions and answers

### How do I use the DJ machine?

### How do DJ audio and tempo controls work?

### Does the DJ simulator automatically beatmatch two songs?

Detect BPM estimates a steady tempo for you to review, or enter/tap it yourself. Mark each first downbeat. Sync beats matches B’s tempo and beat phase to A once using that grid; it does not continuously correct drift. Match tempo matches speed. Key lock preserves pitch after background sound preparation; with it off, changing speed also changes pitch.

### How do I export a DJ mix with the effects included?

Press Record above the decks, perform your mix, then stop and open Recordings to export the recording. Recording captures the crossfader, EQ, filters, echo, and jog movements. Add decks to tune editor transfers the original source audio, so it does not preserve your live performance.
