Explore all 61 keys from C2 to C7 in 3D. Hold notes together for sustained harmonies, or choose Classic for the original 24-note C3–B4 keyboard. Play close-up brings a smaller section within reach.

## How to play

In 3D view, choose Play to tap, strum, or glide across a playing surface. Hold keys or wind surfaces to sustain a note. Choose Rotate to inspect the model; scroll or pinch to zoom. Use the labeled note controls or computer keys for chords and the full range. Classic view provides the original illustrated playing surface. Hold a key for a continuous tone. Use the black and white keys or the labeled keyboard controls below the instrument.

## Sound

Church organ samples sustain while a key is held and fade when it is released.

## Add a voice without restarting the others

Hold a two-note foundation while adding and removing a third note. The sustained organ makes independent note releases easy to hear.

Starting tempo: 60 BPM. Use Keep the beat for a steady pulse.

1: C3 + G3 | 2: Hold both notes | 3: Add E3 | 4: Hold all three | 5: Release E3 only | 6: Hold C3 + G3 | 7: Release all notes | 8: Rest

1. **Find the three keys.** Use Z for C3, C for E3 and B for G3. Start the metronome at 60 BPM. On touch, use separate fingers on the labeled controls.

2. **Keep the foundation down.** Press Z and B on beat 1. Without releasing them, add C on beat 3. Release only C on beat 5, then release the remaining keys on beat 7.

3. **Check the independent voices.** Repeat slowly if releasing the middle note also stops the outer notes. Each held computer key or touch should keep its own note sounding.

**What to listen for:** Adding E3 fills out the harmony without a new attack on C3 or G3. Removing it returns to the original two-note sound.

**Try next:** Use D-sharp3 with keyboard D instead of E3 with C. Compare the new middle note while holding the same outer notes.

## How do I record the organ in Resonant?

1. **Choose your playing controls.** Choose Play in 3D view or switch to Classic. Tap a playing surface, use the labeled note controls, or press a computer-key shortcut to enable sound.

2. **Record your idea.** Press Record above the instrument, then play your phrase. This records studio audio without using your microphone. Each take can last up to five minutes.

3. **Listen and keep a copy.** Press Stop, open Recordings, and listen to the take. Choose Download WAV or Original audio to keep a file. Saved takes stay on this device; clearing browser storage removes them.
